This includes, but is not limited to, coding, editing your config file, modifying the hilt itself, misuse/improper alignment of the core, cross-threading, damage sustained during play, or the use of 3rd party parts and batteries. It is advisable to record the unboxing experience and photograph any damage present upon receipt.
