Battery Safety
Only use approved 18650 lithium-ion batteries and chargers provided or recommended by Vader’s Sabers. Using incorrect or low-quality chargers can damage the battery or electronics.
Always follow the marked polarity. The positive side (with the small contact/divot) must align with the positive terminal. Installing a battery incorrectly can cause immediate damage to the electronics.
No. Never carry loose batteries in pockets, bags, or toolboxes with metal objects like keys or coins. This can cause a dangerous short circuit. Always use a battery case.
Do not use the battery if you notice:
Torn or damaged wrapping
Swelling
Burn marks or unusual smell
If anything looks off, stop using it immediately.
No. A battery should never become excessively hot. If it does:
Stop using it immediately
Move it to a safe area
Contact support
Do not leave batteries charging unattended. Charge on a non-flammable surface. Unplug once fully charged
No. Tape is not a safe or acceptable fix. Damaged batteries should be properly rewrapped or replaced.
Lithium-ion batteries store a large amount of energy in a small space, and when not handled carefully, can result in bodily harm. Treat them with care, not routine use.
Lithium batteries don’t give second chances. When in doubt, stop.
