The Count SE reflects one of the best evolutions of a character, ever. Unlike Dooku’s fully curved Form II: Makashi style hilt, this saber takes the inspiration but retains a straight-bodied profile, emphasizing control, balance, and classical technique making it easier for dueling. The defining feature is the subtle curved claw above the emitter—a calculated addition, not a flourish.
The small, forward-swept claw above the emitter acts as a duelist guard, protecting the hand and subtly guiding blade alignment during thrusts and parries. It’s a fencing-inspired design choice rooted in control and economy of motion.
