Devotion recreates the distinctive saber carried by a young Obi-Wan Kenobi during his years as Qui-Gon Jinn’s Padawan, then as a Jedi Knight training a teenage Anakin Skywalker. The design is unmistakably late-Republic Jedi: polished silver construction, deep black grip sections, a prominent red control knob, intricate exposed details, and the unusual pommel geometry that gives this early Kenobi hilt a personality all its own.
 
This also comes with the alternate pommel cap to differentiate between Episode 1 and Episode 2. 
 
This Grand Master edition is built for the collector who wants the details to hold up just as well from six inches away as they do across the room. Precision-machined metal construction, layered components, contrasting finishes, and screen-inspired proportions give the hilt the kind of mechanical depth that simpler interpretations tend to flatten out.
 
Fun Fact: Ewan McGregor has recalled being taken to the prop department before filming The Phantom Menace, where he was shown a collection of saber props and got to choose the hilt Obi-Wan would carry. That selection became one of the most recognizable Padawan-era designs in the saga.
 
There’s an interesting bit of character history built into the design, too. Obi-Wan’s first lightsaber was deliberately modeled after the saber of his master, Qui-Gon Jinn — a fitting detail for the young Padawan we meet in Episode I. During the duel on Naboo, Darth Maul knocked this saber into a generator shaft, forcing Obi-Wan to ultimately use Qui-Gon’s fallen saber to defeat him.
