Built around the imposing design language of Darth Malgus, Deceiver looks like it belongs at the front of a Sith assault rather than tucked safely away in a collection.
 
A long matte-black body forms the foundation, broken up by heavy silver collars, exposed brass-toned hardware and small red, blue and metallic details around the control section. But the defining feature is the emitter: a massive multi-piece shroud surrounds the blade opening, creating an unusually broad, almost armored silhouette. With the outer pieces removed, the underlying mechanical construction and illuminated red accents become much more visible.
 
The result feels appropriately Old Republic—less refined ceremony, more uncompromising function. Malgus was never known for subtlety, and neither is this hilt.
 
Lore Fact: Darth Malgus became one of the defining Sith of the Old Republic after helping lead the assault that devastated the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Yet he was unusual even among the Sith: after the Treaty of Coruscant, he largely abandoned Imperial political games to lead campaigns into the Unknown Regions, and repeatedly argued that the Empire needed to change rather than remain trapped by tradition. That combination of brute force and iconoclasm eventually led him to challenge the established Sith order itself.
