The Guard is a clean Younglings training saber built for young duelists who want a little more versatility from their first blade. With its long black grip, simple ringed emitter, and two-tone upper hilt, Guard feels practical, balanced, and ready for the training floor. It is easy to handle as a single saber, but this model can also be connected with a second Guard to create a double-bladed staff setup — perfect for apprentices ready to practice wider movements, defensive forms, and the sacred art of not spinning it directly into a lamp.
Available in Temple Green or Solar Gold, Guard has a more refined training-hall look than some of the flashier Younglings sabers. The green finish feels calm and grounded, while the gold finish adds a more ceremonial touch without losing its simple apprentice-ready build.
Guard uses a 1" baselit blade, meaning the light source is housed inside the hilt and shines up through the blade. That makes it a practical choice for casual dueling, cosplay, beginner training, and young collectors who want something durable, bright, and easy to use.

Note: Younglings sabers use fixed in-hilt electronics and are not designed for removable core swaps.

This option is for those who want to get into the hobby at the lowest possible price or want to do full-contact heavy dueling. The exterior metal hilt is the same as the more expensive Tier. There are no LEDs inside blade, which is cheaper and less likely to break with dueling.
