The Proffie Tech Core brings advanced customization to compatible Apprentice-tier hilts, where the charge port is located above the PWR button on the hilt.
Proffie is a favorite among advanced users because it gives you far more room to fine-tune how your saber looks, sounds, and responds. That extra power does come with a learning curve: Proffie setup often involves working with config files, SD card files, and uploading through Arduino/ProffieOS tools. Programming or customization involves connecting the board by USB and uploading through Arduino, and the config files must match the saber’s setup for the board to operate properly.
This core is intended as a replacement/upgrade for compatible Apprentice-tier, non-POGO core sabers. Unlike our removable POGO cores, this is not designed to simply slide in and out for quick swapping. You should expect to open the hilt, remove the existing core, install the new core, and make sure everything is seated and aligned correctly.

- This is an Xeno-based Proffie core for compatible Apprentice-tier sabers.
- It is not the same as our removable POGO cores.
- It is not for every saber.
- It is not recommended as a first electronics project unless you are comfortable with careful disassembly.
