This saber is often called the "shared" stunt saber because it was also used by Alec Guinness in the original 1977 film. Almost six years later, this prop was pulled out in haste for use by Luke Skywalker, in 1983's Return of the Jedi historic holo tapes.

You can select "VS Enhanced Weathering," which adds the authentic Gafer's Tape to the neck and reduces the chrome shine, bringing it closer to the actual prop used on set. You can also add VS weathering at checkout for this listing (click here), which includes the previously mentioned additions plus more rust, dirt and grime, and uses our own hand-weathered stencil look for the most accurate prop at this price point available.
