During the filming of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, many of the duel scenes required a special version of Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber — one designed not for display, but for motion. These were the stunt sabers: streamlined, durable, and engineered so actors and stunt performers could execute the blisteringly fast choreography that defined the final duel on Mustafar. The StuntFlex draws inspiration from those production sabers.
Fun Fact: The duel between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar is the longest lightsaber duel in Star Wars film history. In fact, it alone took two months to film.
Where the traditional Graflex design is full of vintage camera parts and delicate details, the stunt version was simplified for performance — smoother sections, reinforced grips, and fewer protruding components. The result was a saber that could be swung, spun, and clashed through hours of filming without missing a beat.
